Together we provide a range of services that can support people in need. Support includes information and advice, advocacy for people in difficulty, help and advice with direct payments, assistance in filling out forms and claiming a full entitlement of benefits, support for unpaid carers, a befriending service and community development. The ILCP is also one of the best places in Lambeth to volunteer, with a range of opportunities on offer for people to give back to the community and gain valuable new experience.
Women & Girls Network's Ascent Advice Service provides free and confidential information, advice and support to women and girls affected by domestic and or sexual violence aand abuse. The Advice team will provide you with immediate information about your options and staying safe. Specialist information is provided on a wide range of issues including safety, emotional wellbeing, housing and homelessness, finances and benefits, legal options, child related concerns. The Advice team also offers face to face support to those in London and can link you in with other appropriate services such as specialist refuges, solicitors, advocacy support, counselling and group work. The advice line is also open to professionals to access support on gender based violence cases and friends and family.
Dementia Adventure help people live better with dementia by connecting them to the outdoors, their community and help retain a sense of adventure in their lives. They provide supported dementia holidays where partners, family, friends and carers can enjoy their break together.
GamCare operates the National Gambling HelpLine, providing information, advice and support for anyone affected by problem gambling. We also offer a range of free treatment across England, Scotland and Wales, as well as a moderated Forum and daily chatrooms so that people can speak to others experiencing similar issues and seek support.
LEAP offers programmes focusing on three areas that play key roles in a child’s early life development: Social and emotional development, communication & language and diet & nutrition. As well as providing services to enhance early years care in the area, LEAP also works with local parents, carers, organisations, social workers and experts to make sure services are tailored for Lambeth’s needs.

We provide advice and information on all aspects from what happens on arrest, visiting a prison to preparing for release.
